SAMPLE OF DESCRIPTIVE RESEARCH METHOD: “COMPARISON AND CONTRAST OF OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING BETWEEN VISUAL BASIC 6.0 AND JAVA NETBEANS.”
Descriptive Research Method
This is defined as an original attempt to analyze interrupt and repair the present status of the software. This method helped the researcher to in defining specific problems encountered in the existing software. The researchers were able to identify the advantages and disadvantages of the existing software and used it to provide basis in defining adjectives for the researcher.
It may be said that descriptive research is fact finding with adequate interpretation. The descriptive method is something more and beyond just data gathering; the latter is not reflective thinking and not research. The true meaning of data collected should be reported from the point of view of the objectives and the basic assumption of the project under way.
